Organic Color Play
The colors at the shop today
were a strange alchemy brew
as if an Imp wanted to say
“Look what I grew”
It all started with lemons and orange

glowing so perky in the hot Spring shade
almost if by quirky suggesting a juicy ade
First noon humidity to chase away
The last of Loki winter gray.

And then in an instant the fruit turned
hot as Hades or Hel burned
In a fuming feud with father Loki.
I shake my head and find the reds rotund

No time for speckle fun
just a bit of mischief and lure
for all to speculate.

High Park This Week
High Park and all of Toronto got to finally indulge in double digit Spring warmth. And the trees responded with bright red and subtle yellow-green buds - making a walk and picture taking a pleasure. Here is what I saw:

Plunge to the Depths
It is the surface ripples and forms
that draw attention outward and around
to a weak ago rippled by snowstorms
alighting without a scintilla of wind skirmish,

so what we see are the plates
the plates that you and eyes
take for not-impartial colored fates
hanging like a jazz riff raff upon

the surface entangled and reflecting
depth yet to be discovered
yet another time for risking

as the lure of ever wider comprehension
skims along another liquid tiling
enchanted with all its wonder
above and in depth below.

High Park 3 Weeks Ago
I kid you not these picture were taken just after the last storm and snow fall in Toronto.

“I feel the depth reflected every day”

“The days are waking up full brawny now”

“I can’t believe I blush to see you”

“Is Loki scheming for a comeback …”

“Your spirit hovers over me and I am consoled”

“What view do you support now ???”
Its all a world of wonder in High park just after a snow.

Cut Flowers on Bloor Street West
There are about 4-5 cut flower, veggie and fruit shops between
Keele/High Park Streets and Dundas Street on Bloor West.

Each of the shops has its specialties.

But all seem to have a never ending supply of tulips

all the year round to my surprise

But it should not be, as we all want our time in the Sun.

Look what I can do in Ning.
Find more photos like this on jbsurveyer
This is Alex Goodman and his Jazz partners playing down at the Dominion on Queen East. This is part of the website I created at ning.com for no cost other than the two hours it took to get all the pieces together for a Photo Outings and Daily photo website. IT also can serve as a meeting place and forum. The time it took to set up the site and getting it running was quite amazing - it is very easy to develop in Ning.
I am hoping this comes through!
